Very excited and scared at the same time!

    Hi Everyone...

Well where do I start, for a few days I just knew something felt different so I did a test today and there they were 2 very dark lines! I'm still in shock!

DF & I are very happy but scared at the same time. In March 2006 I had a m/c with twins then this year in Feb I had another m/c. So it's mixed feelings at the moment but we're trying to stay positive that this time around will be the one.

A few months ago we went to a specialist to get some answers, we had tests done and everything came back fine but as I have Coeliac Disease the doc said that it could of been the reason why I had the m/c's. I have been on a strict gluten free diet for about 3 months now so I am hoping to god that this will be enough to make our lil baby stay for another 8 months! Another complication I have is that I have a cyst on my left ovary which I'm a little worried about. Has anyone had a cyst when they've been pregnant?

    Thankyou.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Here's to a happy, healthy and stress free pg. I havent had a cyst while pregnant but I'm sure someone will be able to help. You may want to ask in the Pregnancy General discussion thread?

CONGRATULATIONS ... wishing you all the best with your pregnancy.

I have a small cyst - about 2cm. Apparently cysts are very common in women. Many women have them and never know. Small cysts don't pose any significant problems during pregnacy. Some women even find that their cysts shrink during pregnancy.

Doctors like to monitor large cysts during pregnancy, but this is done by a simple ultrasound.

It sounds like you are at optimal health, so stay postive. ((( hugs )))

Congrats on your wonderful news!! it sounds like you have everyting under control so I am sure this will be a super sticky lil bub. I have a small fibroid & am currently 8 wks pg so not sure if this is similar to a cyst? The sonogropher at my u/s on Friday was not even going to mention it until I asked as she said it was irrelevant. I'm sure your cyst will pose no problems & might even disappear. All the best!!

Congratualtions Apes. I wish you all the very best for this pregnancy. I also had a cyst and my ob said that most women who are pregnant have them but will never know as they don't really cause any problems. Mine has now disappeared as most do so try not to worry yourself about it too much hun.
