    what a shock!!

    Hi all,

I just found out last monday that I am pregnant with our first baby!

What a shock!! I was diagnosed with PCOD 2 yrs ago and never get more than 5 periods a year, and had blood tests showing very wacky hormone levels.

Since I am already 30 My husband and I decided to start trying as we were told it would prob be a long road - and my GP immed referred me to a fertility specialist.

4 weeks after seeing my GP I finally did a preg test because by breasts were tender and I'd been feeling a little off - turns out I am pregnant .... and a least a few weeks in!!

My husband and I were so shocked - we were not expecting this to happen so quick. So after 3 days of me crying and a massive shock about the reality of whats going on, we are starting to actually get used to the idea and get excited!!

My GP was VERY shocked and didn't think it was possible, and my husband thinks he is an absoulute stud!! I am off for an US next week to see where we are at.

Fingers crossed it all goes well.
    K

PS. Would love to know if anyone else with PCOD has ever had an experience like this??
