With DD2 I started to show at about 9 weeks and told everyone then. With this pregnancy I didn't even know I was pregnant til I was 16 weeks along and I wasn't showing then So I guess it depends on the pregnancy
DS1 & DS2 i wasn't showing at all until well past 12 - 16 weeks but they weren't big bubs either but this time i was bloated from very early on, around 9 weeks i was getting a pot belly and even higher from all the bloating, might add this ones a girl
It really does depend, I guess. With this pregnancy I expected to show early or at least earlier but I'm still tiny! I could pass for not pregnant as recently as a few weeks ago (at 20w, I am 24w now) and can still wear all my prepregnancy pants, including skinny jeans... not sure where bub is hiding as I haven't put on any weight yet, still under 60kg. My belly has just recently started looking rounded and I can sort of see the definition of my uterus but yeah, everyone has been commenting how small I am (which people seem to think is what you want to hear but really just makes you worry lol)... expecting it to explode any day now. I was similar last time so I guess that's just how I carry. Maybe just see how you go and if you do start showing you can bump telling at least the most important people earlier? We didn't tell anyone till I had had my 20w scan and not even my parents who I see at least weekly guessed which if they had, they would have said something! They were still making 'she needs a sibling' comments right up till I announced it to them.
With my dd I had to wear maternity jeans at 8 weeks because my belly just popped straight away. I was small to begin with. I'd had 2 pregnancies before that though so maybe that made a diff.
We told everyone at around 5 weeks with DD as i was horribley sick with m/s plus i bloated so much. The second i tried to hide but a few days before i tested a guy at work asked if i was as i "looked pregnant". I'm hoping next time around i dont have as much bloating and i can hide it as long as i can. just past 8 weeks would be great.
