5 - 7 weeks pregnant (possibly!) also new to forums.

hey everyone,

i am new here, so this is my first reply to a topic and i am not sure if i am doing the right thing but here goes!

my partner and i have been TTC since Nov 09, we are both 29 and reasonably healthy.

i had my last period 14 Dec 09 and then on 5 Jan 2010 i had 24 hours of on and off very light very bright red spotting.

i am having all sorts of symptoms, like smelling EVERYTHING especially coffee and tea in the supermarket isles, my boobs seem to have almost doubled in size, well, they're certainly bigger, my tummy constantly feels nausceous and like its popping out or fatter than normal, even though my partner says i dont look any different. on top of that, i am dizzy, light headed, getting headaches, have bright yellow pee and i haven't had my period still!

i've done about 5 HPTs ALL negative, i had one blood test on 21 Jan 2010 which came back negative, and now my GP is sending me for a pelvic ultrasound this saturday 13 Feb 2010 as she thinks i may be either 4 or 7 weeks pregnant, or thereabouts...

why isnt it showing on the HPTS? did i just do them too early?

my blood test on the 21 Jan 2010 was negative, but if i conceived after that spotting on 5 Jan 2010, maaaaybe i am about 4 or 5 weeks pregnant and it was too early to test?

argh, so stressed!

on top of this, does anyone know if MIA in Melbourne bulk bill a pelvic ultrasound?

god, i hope i am pregnant, my period is never odd, or late or anything like that, i have never missed one, let alone two.. so maybe i am?

All your symptoms sounded like mine at the very beginning especially my pee being bright yellow and smelt weird.. thats something i first noticed. But definitely was dizzy and light headed.

wow that's exciting. i am trying to keep calm, but everyone i know who has been pregnant is saying the same thing. argh....

hoping it is a little baby soooo much!

i will let you all know after my ultrasound this weekend.

do you think i should do another home test prior?

How many days past ovulation has it been. I got my BFP at 10DPO and it was a very faint positive. I then had a blood test and my HCG level was 29 which indicated i was 3 weeks pregnant just about.

thats the thing, IF the January 5th spotting was indeed a period, then i was due to ovulate on around the 16th January... BUT if that wasn't a period then my last period was 14th December, so i ovulated a longggg while ago

argh.... i think i will just wait to get this ultrasound and hope for good news!
