5 weeks pregnant - is this normal??

Just wondering on people's experience in early pregnancy... I'm 5 weeks today and have no classic symptoms - no nausea, frequent urination, tiredness etc. All I've noticed is sore boobs and back. Just makes me worry and my first scan is still 2 1/2 weeks away. Am I worrying too much??

Completely normal. With my first morning sickness didn't hit until about 6.5wks.

I had no symptoms at all not even sore boobs. My boobs didn't get sore until I was further along in my pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different and little or no symptoms aren't an indication of anything wrong.

I have had two pregnancies and didn't realise I was pregnant with either baby until nausea and fatigue kicked in for me at 6/7 weeks, so sounds very normal to me! I never had sore boobs or back either. Best wishes for your scan.

My SIL didn't find out she was pregnant til nearly 20 weeks and even then she had no symptoms it just dawned on her she hadn't had a period for 4 months (which is normal for her) so she thought she'd better test

Thanks ladies, this is my first pregnancy and was conceived through IVF after TTC for 3 years so I'm being a bit paranoid I think. I say I feel too well to be pregnant, I could be eating my words in another couple of weeks lol

Congrats! My morning sickness also doesn't start until 6 or 7 weeks, and then it hits with a vengeance. Enjoy the time of feeling well! (Or, you might be one of those lucky ones who escapes without any m/s.) All the best for a great pregnancy!

When I was pg with my first, my only symptom was a missed period. I had no nausea, sore back, painful boobs - nothing. Until I had a big belly (and the SPD kicked in!) I had trouble believing I was pg! Congratulations and I hope you have a wonderful 9 months!

With my first DD I felt sick at 4wks but with DD2 and current pg I was 6/7 weeks before I had any symptoms other than no AF. Also, with this pg, no sore bbs until 12 weeks! So ever pg is different

I had twins and had NO ms at all so maybe you may be one of the lucky ones. Though I did think it would've been reassuring to be as sick as a dog at the time

don't stress I only got morning sickness at 7 weeks and then it was only every second day, never had frequency of urine and can't remember about the boobs. Good luck hun, I know the feeling, the first trimester is the worst, you will feel better when you get further along xx

I've never had any morning sickness either so just because its not there yet isn't a bad thing!
