5weeks pregnant... Should I be worried about this??

    Hi all,

I am 5weeks pregnant with my second child and have a slight stomach ache and NO nausea today. I am worried something might be wrong, especially because the nausea has gone and I was so sick with my DS.

The stomach ache is across where my diaphram is and alittle bit across my back near kidneys????

What does everyone think... I am worried, should I be?

I have been having similar pain for the last couple of weeks and I think it is just gas!! It could also be constipation. It's hard not to worry but my GP said to to watch out for cramps that were really low down and that felt "pushy" - the other pains and cramps she wasn't too worried about.

    Thanks Nai,

Puts my mind at ease a little. It is so hard not to worry so early... i just want to get to 12 weeks and have my scan so I can relax a little!

Oh you poor thing. I'm sure everything is fine, i know whats its like to stress (i never did with DD but with this one i am constantly stressing about everything)
Unless your having bad cramps i would try not to worry, if you wanna set your mind at ease maybe try 'nurse on call' or go to the doc.

With this pregnancy I had the same kind of tummy ache early on (actually before I even knew I was pregnant!) around the 5-6 week mark, I remember feeling exhausted! I also felt no where near as sick as I did with ds, every pregnancy is different, but if it puts your mind at ease give your dr or careprovider a call to reassure yourself, that's what they're there for!

yeh give ur doc or midwife a call and ask them. pains are common in pregnancy but u may also have a urine infection (which isnt a big deal and is very common) just let ur doc know and see what they say. if anything they might just want a urine sample to check everything out. dont be freaked out by this im just giving advice. goodluck hun
