Hi everyone,

I'm after some advice...

I had an early scan last Thursday (at 4wks 6d to rule out an ectopic as I have had an ectopic before), & the sonographer couldn't see anything in my uterus (although he did say before he started that it was probably too early).. What he could see however, was my corpus luteum & a "cystic structure" right next to it my left ovary (the same side that I had previously experienced a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in my tube 4 years earlier).

I was told that the cystic structure could possibly be another ectopic, or that it is simply a cyst & it was just to early to see the embryo in my uterus. What I am wondering is, has anyone else had a largish cyst discovered in the same ovary that the corpus luteum is in? And also, if you did - did it cause you any grief during your pregnancy?

My HCG level at 4w 6d was 250, which is well within the norm for a pregnancy of 4-5wks, so that is positive &
I have a follow-up blood test tomorrow, so dependent on the results probably another scan too.. I haven't had any pain or spotting, just some mild aching-type pains in my lower abdomen, the same as I felt in my last pregnancy with my son. I am trying to stay positive that bub was just hiding, but I just really don't know, & I'm stressing a bit... All the while I am praying that everything will be ok

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
