    Baby blues?

Is it normal to get baby blues while you're pregnant? I've spent the last 2 days crying and feeling really sad and awful. Could be the stress from upcoming exams but it feels more emotional than that I normally don't care too much about exams . Is it normal to get during-natal tears rather than post-natal blues?

i had ante-natal depression with my first pregnancy, and hell yes it exists!
if it doesn't go away in a week or so, go see your gp or ob/gyn and let them know how you're feeling.
also, try out the PANDA website (post and ante-natal depression assosciation) and BEYOND BLUE - they have lots of tips and info.
hope you start to feel better, make sure you let people around you know how you're doing, don't be a hero, sometimes you just need help!

Totally normal. Even if it isn't AN depression, it's still understandable to be teary and emotional. Your body is doing remarkable things even while you "sleep" (I found sleep pretty hard to come by during both my pgs and this can contribute to a delicate emotional state too).
Hope you are feeling good again too. I second going and talking to someone if you are feeling down MOST of the time.
