RayRay - I had my last set done in Vic and in the end I had to get my GP to call the maternal serum screening ppl and ask for the results - they had both but had not done the analysis and sent it through yet as they were busy.....a call from your GP should have it all sorted quickly! i remember i called but they could not give me the results, only my referring dr.. xxx

Yep that sounds right I will be calliny my GP to get them. He doesnt seem very interested because my u/s was low risk so I might have to push to get them. They will be copied to my hospital so they'll hopefully get on my records eventually.

Thanks. Yeh its nice to have a lowered risk, even though theres risk in everything and its just a screening test. I think if it had come back high risk I'd have wanted the diagnostic test, just so we could prepare ourselves emotionally and prioritise a few things financially so I could stay home.

I'm just a bit annoyed, the path lab said it was all completed on 3/11, so too bad if i had wanted a CVS, as it was far too late byt he time I found out.

Dont get me wrong Im really happy to have a low risk result, it the process i find confusing, and not helpful for women who dont get a low risk result.

Great news on your results (finally!). I think if you had had high results you would have been contacted- i hope so anyway.
