Cramping??

Hi I am new here!!
I did 2 pregnancy tests over the weekend and they were both positive!
I am guessing I am about 4ish weeks?? I have a doctor appointment tomorrow.
I am a bit concerned today though, because I have had some cramping on my left side and I had some spotting.
I really don't know what to think!! Tomorrow can't come quick enough.
Ha anyone had a similar experience and had a successful pregnancy??
This will be mine and my husbands first after trying for a year.

Cramping does seem to be easing this afternoon.

Hi Reeney, welcome to BB.

Cramping in pg, particularly early pg is common as too is spotting. Just keep an eye on it & if it becomes bright red bledding, go to your Dr or emergency. I hope all is ok

Thanks for that Rhichichi. Hopefully it's good news at the doctors tomorrow!! It is easing this afternoon though.

I must say the first time I have cramps, it is painful and I really panicked but my gynecologist explained it to me that it's normal.

For me cramping is totally normal and so was brown spotting. Only if it is red spotting I (based on personal experience) would be concerned. Hope your OBGYN has good news tomorrow, all the best and hoping you have a happy & healthy pregnancy !!!!

Well I went to the doctor today, she sent me for a blood test and scan. They couldn't see anything on the scan, so it's either too early to see anything yet or it's eptopic.
Just waiting on a call from the doctor with the results of the blood test. The hormone levels should be able to tell wether it will be eptopic or not.

For what it's worth, I had right-sided cramping for some weeks after my BFP.

I got my blood test results, my hcg level was at 33. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad level. But anyway, I dont think it matters now, as they think I have had a miscarriage. I have another blood test tomorrow to see if my levels are dropping, which is what they will be expecting. : (
