Hi,

I am writing because i dont know what to do about my GP. I normally do shared care with her, as she has a midwife who does her antematal apps, she just comes in checks the baby's heartrate and position and is off. She is normally really caring, understanding, etc, BUT she wont give me a dating scan form till the 17th. And the wait is long, she can run up to 2 hours late...

I have had 3 HCG bloodtests done, 2 from my GP and another from another GP as i was not happy about waiting a week to see if the HCG level had risen. He gave me a dating scan there and then to use in 4 weeks, i rang yesterday and have an app for thurs the 10th. If i go with this dr, its only for this scan and results, yellow card and then im going to do the midwife clinic, where you have one midwife throughout the whole pregnancy and birth plus they do some home visits after bubs is born..

The second dr sounds better, i am pretty sure i want to do the midwife program. Just want some opinions on if you think its the right thing to do..
