Pains in the belly - WORRIED.

Over the past 2 days I have been becoming quite worried as I have been feeling crampy type twiges all over my tummy (not specifically where the baby is sitting). Sort of feels warm and sore starting from below my breasts and extending to where bubs would be placed. The "twinges" come and go and feel a bit similar to when I was first pregnant. I hope everything is OK . Does anyone else feel this type of cramping/twinges at this stage of pg (12 weeks)? I am hoping it's the normal stretching that's supposed to go on but am not sure??? Have had no bleeding.

Yes. I started getting them around 9-10w, just after I'd told the family about the baby! I think it's normal stretching. It happened from my pelvis right up to and including my ribs. They hung around for about 6w then I've not had them back since, or not that I've noticed.

Yeah, definately normal for this time. By 12 weeks the uterus is popping out of the pelvis and bubs is growing really quick so you will get mild cramping like AF while everything stretches. If you start to get major cramping or bleeding go get it checked, for your own peace of mind.

Jac sounds like normal twinges and stretching, doing everthing it is meant to do.
If you are worried get it checked out for your own peice of mind before you go away but I am sure it will be fine.

I completely agree with what the other girls have said. Your body is going through so many changes and it's needing to stretch out and make room for your growing bub.

Thanks guys. You have put my mind at ease. It's so reassuring to hear that other people have experienced the same sort of thing.

Jac, yes I have been getting those feelings too. I was told its just because baby is growing and so my body needs to stretch to make room.
