    Dry BB's

    Hey Guys
The past couple days my nipples have been really dry and i was wondering if there is any kind of moisturiser that i can use on them? i was also wondering if this has to do with pregnancy? My breast's have almost doubled in size and i thought that maybe it had to do with them out growing my new bra's that i only bought a week ago i thought maybe it could have something to do with them rubbing on the bra maybe ?
I just don't want to use anythign on tehm i'm not allowed.

I'm pretty sure you can use most things on your BBs - it is a while before you will be breastfeeding so it's pretty safe.
I know I lathered the Palmer's Cocoa butter all over my breasts (and the rest of my body!LOL) for the entire pregnancy because I got stretch marks all over them. If you are worried, you could try using one of the remedies recommended for cracked nipples during breastfeeding. Eg. Lansinoh or Pawpaw ointment (both available from the chemist) fair warning though - both of these are thick and greasy so you might need to wear nursing pads in your bra to stop it staining your bra and/or clothes. Some people actually recommend using these before bubs is born anyway - they reckon it makes your nipples less likely to crack. Who knows if it works? It certainly didn't for me!!

I think any changes to your breasts are fairly normal - they go through some pretty crazy changes to prepare for breastfeeding.
