    my pregnancy so far.......

Hi i thought i would let you peeps know how my pregnancy is going so far, as i know how helpful these forums can be when looking for advise.
So my last period was feb 8th. So when i missed AF i started testing, getting bfn or very very faint bfp. So like 2 weeks later docs did beta blood test in 48 hours intervals which came back indetectable. I then a week later with still no AF tested again using clear blue digital which come up BFN. At this point i was confused as i was getting all the symptoms of being pregnant.
At the end of april i noticed dark veins on my BB that went and followed to my stomache, which confused me even more because i had never had this before. So the next morning with fmu i did another clear blue digital and it come up PREGNANT. Gosh i was so pleased i was on my knees thanking god for this miracle.
Everything was going normal up untill Monday when i spotted very very light pink tinge to my CM. So off i went up to the doctors, he said there was nothing to worry about, by the time i left the doctors surgery, the pink had turned darker. So of course i went home and put my feet up. DH has been brilliant looking after me. So late tuesday night i was just about to go to bed, when i noticed that it had gone dark red like a period. I was rather anxious at this point, so DH look me into emergancy department at hospital. They did a urine test which come up positive, so they sent me up to the gyny ward. The doc there examined my stomache and did an internal examination, she said my cervix was closed, she took some blood to test (beta). The results of that test was 3324, 48 hours later it was at 3372. So today the doc i saw at the hospital rang me back as i am still bleeding (feels like a period, no pain at all just achy hips and thighs). So i have a scan on monday. I hope all goes well, she said it doesnt look good that my levels didnt double in 48 hours but:
    1. my levels didnt even show untill i had missed 2 periods (maybe a little longer)
    2. i have read on the net that hcg levels drop after 12-13 weeks anyway.
    3. my sister had her periods up untill she was six months pregnant( in fact she didnt even know she was pregnant till she was six months)
    4. my husbands previous marriage, his wife had periods with the pregnancy of their child together.

So are these actually bad signs in them self, it has taken us 5 years to conceive, i just cant believe that god would bless us with this miracle to take it way from us so prematurely.

I will lwt you guys know what happens on monday, but thought i would share this and kind of look for some positive feedback, to try and stay positive and to not worry for the sake of our little unborn baby.
    Thanks for reading this

Georgette, i just wanted to say good luck and hope everything is well!

I don't want to freak you out but at 10 weeks my HCG levels came back at 145k... But in saying that, every pregnancy is different and i was actually thinking, just because you haven't had your period since February doesn't have to mean you are that far along.. perhaps you only ovulated within the last few weeks and you weren't actually pg when you were testing but o'd within the last few weeks and fell pg, that would explain the low HCG levels!

I really have everything crossed that everything is fine with your bubby and all the luck in the world tomorrow!

I had bleeding with this pregnancy - and everything is fine I'm sure you know that if it is a mc that when it happens so early in a pg it usually means there is something wrong with the embryo.

    Fingers crossed!

Georgette, First, I want to wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy. Like Catherine said, your HCG level is very low for someone around week 11-12. However, like she said, you shouldn't worry because you might have ovulated late which would explain the slow HCG level. With my pregnancy, I also spotted thinking I was miscarriaging, but thank God, it was a hematoma that I had. Up until now, the pregnancy is progressing superb! By the way, did your doctor do an u/s on you? That may be an indicative data to the gestational age of your baby. Anyways, I wish you well with all my heart, keep us updated on how you are doing!

    HUGS
