I get them everytime. And really bad. I cant eat bread, pasta, chocolate, meat, anything too fatty, potatoes (or anything with starch in it), a fair variety of fruit and veg as well for the most part of my pregnancies. Im only now (almost 37wks) able to indulge in a little bit of chocolate before I am sick. And I get the whole range of side affects too, vomiting, gastro like symptoms and all.
On the upside if I cant enjoy them through out pregnancy, I definately am able to after birth. Although it does take me a while to have the courage to eat them again. Something about the food making me sick for nine months kind of puts me off enjoyig it again.
So I feel your pain! My game plan is to just avoid the food once it makes me sick, sometimes I will try it again during pregnancy, but mostly I will avoid it. It normally works best.
