spray tan??? Can you have one???

Hey just wondering if you can get a spray tan while pregnant??? Anyone know???

also has anyone had pains really low... where you would imagine your cervix to be? pain that is there and then goes... almost like a stretching pain?? is this normal???? should I be worried??
On my last scan I was measuring 5 days ahead so could it be that my baby is growing fast???? and that's whats causing the pain? or could I be feeling gas pains and getting them confused?

Yes you can have one. We use an organic tan and its pregnancy safe, some have chemicals so maybe find out what they are using? We also have full exhaust fan over spray tan area so the fumes go up and out not in your lungs

I did a bit of research on this awhile back. In terms of the tanning side of things, fake tan isn't an issue because the active ingredient doesn't penetrate any deeper than the first layer of skin. But, I read that it is advised that you don't have spray tans because the solution is airborne and you can inhale it and they don't know what the affect on bubs could be. Creams and other types of tanning lotions aren't an issue though.

Personally, I decided to stick to lotions. But if you really want to get a spray tan done, I would firstly look for the organic option (keep in mind that just because something is natural it doesn't mean that it can't be harmful in pregnancy eg. Lavender oils etc) and secondly wear a face mask while in the room (not just when it is being applied).

ask your tanning salon - the one I went to wouldn't do one in the first tri as they didn't want to risk it for me and I was happy with that when they told me upfront when I asked
