Getting excited for my first ultrasound next week :)

I've been so patient so far I've waited this long to have an ultrasound. I'll be 10 weeks 1 day when I get my very first one done so was wondering if anyone can tell me what I can expect. By this time should I be able to identify our baby looking like a baby and should I see movement?

How did everyone else feel when they saw their baby for the very first time in an ultrasound? I'm thinking that I may need to take some tissues with me just in case

Yes it will look like a baby and if he/she is awake you will see movement!

It's very cool, you'll be able to see the heart beating as well

You may need tissues or you may be just in awe.

Take tissues.

Oh and when I had a scan at around that gestation, the radiology gave me a CD with the images to keep - check if you get one

Hey girls, I thought I would drop in and update that I had my ultrasound yesterday. The most amazing experience I have ever had! I'm in love

Measured exactly at 10 weeks so my date is just 1 day in front so right on time and heart beat is at 183 bpm. Besides the morning sickness it feels real now!
