The Good & The Bad, but no ugly, well not really

    Hi guys,

    The good news:

I've made it to just over 9 weeks and morning sickness is really settling down. i think im up to 3 days of no throwing up, so im wrapped. oh and for those who saw my previous thread, no UTI, just me hanging on too long for what my body likes lol

    The bad news:

My headaches have been getting worse, and im still dizzy, but my blood pressure is good so my doc isn't worried unless it gets worse.

The ugly - sorry, wasn't going to include it.

Has any of you experienced a lot of anger since you found out you were pregnant, or during your pregnancy. Im not angry at anyone in particular (although DH is bugging me) but just angry on a whole. spoke to my doc and she had no idea other than "hormones". my DH now calls them "Nomones" lol

so guys, do you get angry at the drop of a hat? i've had the tears, the elation, the fear etc, think im working through the emotion scale lol

oh, and i also forgot to add, my DH hasn't really said or done much regarding this pregnancy, except for tell about 20 people !!!!!!!! and he was the one who said we should wait until after 12 wks ! lol that is just too cute

    stay safe guys

    Jenna

PS. thanks for putting up with my annoying posts too !

Jenna - During 1st trimester I was getting frustrated/angry much more easily than usual. I'm sure it's those hormones. I have been feeling better in 2nd trimester. Hopefully it will be the same for you!

Yep, I get angry and frustrated quicker than usual too!
That's my hubbies only complaint: my fuse is sooooo short!

Must be the lovely hormones! Thankfully I hardly have any other symptomes so I am not complaining (well not really anyway lol)

I shorta hope it will get better in the second trim!

    Good luck!

Yes i have been feeling the same. I am actually getting married in 4 and a half weeks, i have been so close to calling the whole thing off because of my emotions. i feel like everyone is ganging up on me and i have had the feeling i am making the wrong decision lol. i have only felt this way since the pregnancy. But i have also been getting angry at the drop of a hat and snapping at people, over reacting and then just bawling at the drop of a hat. :-( its amazing how these hormones mess with your mind. And it doesn't help that the m/s, headaches and tiredness get to you as well.
Ok well enough of my venting lol.

I was talking to DH about getting married this year, not sure if it'll happen, i think it depends on how the preg goes.

at least im not the only one who's a bit of a monster right now, i feel much better knowing that!

Plenty of monsters here lol lol. But we can be excused. I think this is a minor inconvenience for the DH'S compared to what we have to go through. But then again we are privledged to experience this miriacle all to our selves :-)

yeah I had the anger thing too....

Don't put off your wedding! I got married at 18wks (to the day!) and wouldn't have changed it for anything! I managed to try and keep all the anger in, but the night before, I just let loose. I screamed at my mother, then at my husband. Took most of it out on him! I had a migrane that didn't help things.

    Best of luck

I was a bit of an emotional monster too but it seems to be settling down. Last night DH said something to me and in the past few weeks I would've lost it and ended up in tears. But I simply said "I took mild offence to what you said" and managed to get through the silly issue with a smile and said to him it was no big deal and we had a little laugh at it.

Jenna, all through pregnancy my DH was scared to come home! But I was justified in my anger as he did nothing around the house. I would scream at the TV or radio too; there was always some dumb pg woman on and I got mad that she was so dumb... I had serious issues.

I have found that I have no patients with the boys right now, when normally im the calm one. So im trying to count to 10 before i react to a drama.
I have had alot of headaches in the last 2 weeks and the dr told me to try heat packs on the head, panadol, and if it doesnt budge it, then its safe to try panadiene as a last resort.
She told me that 25% of pregnant women suffer unexplained headaches.....But i have had hardly any morning sickness so i figure its a small price to pay !!!

    take care
