Hi I think girl, we went and had a look on the site angle of the dangle (apparently girls also have a dangle at this stage but it points upwards, but it can be tricky to tell??? Your upwards point looks very obviouis to me) but I am no expert, just going by my own scans. Compared DD3 scans with their shots and also bubs in tummy 12 week scan and were convinced girl, 20 week scan proved correct, also I felt girl cause of lack of MS etc, boys preggies felt very sick and blurgh!!! Add it all together and see what you get.
    Sooo Exciting!!!!

Thanks Blackduckies! Are you referring to the nub when you are talking about the angle of the dangle? I can't for the life of me see it in the picture! I had m/s with both my boys, but none this time. Instead I got heartburn and indigestion this time (I didn't have that with the boys) so it will be interesting to find out for sure!

Trillian - Thanks for your guess too! I too have a great "toilet" shot of DS2 at 20 weeks and IKWYM when you say my third pic looks to far back, that's what I was thinking too. Unless it was squished back somehow LOL!

Thanks to everyone else for guessing, this is lots of fun

I'm guessing girl too, but that's totally uneducated! Just what it looks like to me
(At our morph scan we were told that she thought girl but she said, 'keep your receipts. Just because I couldn't see a penis doesn't mean there isn't a surprise one there', LOL!)
I hope it's ok, I have emailed the link to BIL who is a sonographer to see what he reckons. I'm impatient to know too... And it's not even my baby ROFL!!! Don't know if I missed your announcement, did I? If so, huge congratulations to you, Trish

Yeah as long as its healthy hey?

Are you hoping for a girl? Are you going to find out for sure at 18 weeks?

I can't really make any guesses because It really is to hard to tell from your photos. But at 12 weeks I wouldn't guess because I was told by my doctors that from 18weeks onwards is when you can start telling the sex so to be sure I would wait so that you dont make yourself think you know what you are having

    LOL thanks Julia!

Serenitylee - It's definitely hard to tell by the photos! I know it's easier to tell later, but I know quite a few people who were told at 12 weeks and the gender was correct . The sonographer *seemed* to hint to DH & I about there being no boy bits IYKWIM. I definitely won't rush out and buy pink or blue until I have the later scan!!

Goodluck! I have been tempted to find out but am keeping it a suprise! I decided after all my hard work when the baby is born I want a little suprise at the end of it

Hey Trish, BIL says looks like girl to him. But I didn't tell him gestation and he guessed around 17 weeks... So perhaps it's not such a reliable guess, LOL!
I'm thinking odds are in favour of girl though!
