Hairy belly

Ok, I'm pretty sure this is just a normal part of my crazy pregnancy hormones but I'm curious to see if anyone else as had a similar experience?

I've always had a sprinkling of dark hairs in a snail-trail distribution. (I used to wax and tweeze when I was younger and vainer.) But since falling pregnant they seem to be both multiplying and getting longer! (Like 4cm+)

On the plus side my nails are also growing thicker and faster than ever before :-)

I have a hairy belly, becoming darker but not quite as long as yours (but then it's all over my belly)

I have a "snail trail" going up and down from my belly button with darker hair - looks funny!

Yep, same here for both DD and this pregnancy. And my nails are growing beautifully too. Now if I could just get my skin to start glowing....!

It's normal so don't touch it (ie: wax it) or it will be permanent. I think it is called Linea Nigrea or something like that

Brings back memories! I had a hairy belly too - and plucked and shaved it, back to normal soon after the birth. I was also told it would be permanent. Can anyone confirm they waxed in pregnancy and that hair became permanent?

The Linea nigra is a dark line which coincided with the darkest of my belly hairs, from the belly button leading down, but that's pigmentation on the skin, not hairiness.

I also had gorgeous nails, but the skin and hair didn't kick in until the second trimester, so fingers crossed for you very soon Pac.
