ooo...look, I made me a ticker!!!
Basically, my vital signs were ok (blood pressure, temperature etc.) so I was not really considered as an emergency. They were giving me pain killers which were doing nothing and I was in so much pain that I threw them up anyway!! It was very annoying. It was about 8pm on a weeknight and the waiting room was full of people with sprained ankles (from midweek sporting endeavours) and they were all sitting around chatting and laughing and all of them were going in before me!!! It seemed crazy!!! Oh well....not a pleasant experience, but an experience all the same. We decided it would have been better if we had called an ambulance, then you go in straight away no matter what. Live and learn huh!! I didn't know I was pregnant at the time because I had had a period, but that may have been bleeding from the ectopic (although they never were able to explain it properly). I would have been about 6-7 weeks when it happened.

Hi Cheryl,
The stitch type pain I have had with all of my pregnancies. Not sure why but it definitely is a sign for me...
It is not at all unusual to be getting heartburn in the luteal phase of your cycle. This doesn't necessarily indicate pregnancy. It is caused by the higher levels of progesterone. I too get this in the second half of my cycle - it has been more marked when I am pregnant but I get it even when I am not.
Wishing you lots of luck. I hope this is your month!
-
Yep, Ihave had a stitch-like pain with both pgs and a burnig sensation too. fingerscrossed it's a good sign for you
-
Danda - Luckily you went to the hospital, when you did. With the way the hospitals are now it probably would have been better by ambulance, but when you don't know what is happening you just think we will make our own way. So happy that you have become pregnant again, I hope this one goes well. Hugss.
Flowerchild - I never get heartburn. That stupid stitch has been coming and going today, but still have until Thursday, which is when AF is due. Normally on time, exactly 30day cycle. So we will see.. Goodluck with your pregnancy hun, hope it doesn't give you a hard time.
Saram, thanks so much. Congrats on your DD.
-
Awww.. how exciting csab!!! Fingers are crossed very tightly for you... :D
-
Danda, sorry to hear about your experience.... i'm really happy you are pregnant too, congrats! :) you deserve it so much... :hugs:
Csab - thinking of you, hope you get a BFP!!!!
Well i'm still waiting for my Af to arrive shes about 6 days late now and absolutely no sign of AF yet what attracted me to this site is i too, have had similar to what you describe, like a constant cramp in my abdomen, more so my right side and its constant. ive also had slight waves of feeling sick too (come and go for like 4mins or so) anyway, could just be AF but yeah i'm interested in what you are going thru as i feel i have a similar thing with me. and i've never felt it before EVER. however my AF symptoms seem to be so similar to what others say are there pregnancy symptoms so i am not trying to think about it but its hard until AF arrives.... we did DTD a few times without using anything too! so always a chance.
Saram - that burning sensation you describe, thats also what i have had a few times, not all the time but a few times.... over the last week... ah well time will tell.....
good luck girls xx

Renstar! Babe, you need to stop tormenting yourself... I say you just carry on with life until your ready to start TTC and if it ends up there is a little opps on the way - then brilliant! Your watching yourself too closely and i feel like your gonna cause yourself problems later on down the track when you really do TTC.
-
I don't reckon it's a bad thing reading your body signs though is it? We practically nearly are TTC now anyway, we haven't really been all that careful TBH lately..... so there could be a chance. But as I said, i'm not thinking about it. This thread just caught my eye and I'm interested in what Csab said....
-
It's not Renee - but you must be getting so disappointed every month when your period comes when your not actively TTC. I just don't want you to start thinking there is something wrong with you if it doesn't happen straight away when you actively TTC.
I hope you don't think i am being nasty, because if i am coming across like that i am not meaning to. I have just noticed every month for the past few months you have questioned it but your not actually TTC. I know you can't wait to be UTD, and i can't wait for you to be UTD either... i just don't want you to drain yourself for later on!
-
nope, actually i'm not getting disappointed every month.... thats just it.. i'm not because we aren't TTC yet but i'm learning my body and hearing others experiences and stories as one day that will help me when we are TTC and actually pregnant. And i am realistic and realise it may take 1mth or may take 12mths to fall pregnant.... everyone is different and has different symptoms etc and like i said just before, I know that AF can mimick preg symptoms. it happens to me. I get dizzy, nausea and pains just before AF is due. (unfortunately).
2mths ago I was thinking I may have been pregnant but that was in a thread that got blown out of proportion and turned into a game where all the girls were just following me with it. it only started off as a simple thread... with everyone joining in on the thread it did kinda get my hopes up but that was cool as either way, whether its BFP or BFN it doesnt matter to me as I know that one day I will have that BFP at the time that is right for us.... things happen for a reason ;)
I'm on BB so i can learn as much as possible before even falling pregnant... I think there is so much to learn!! & yes i'm excited.
Thanks for your concern, but you don't need to worry about me.
(sorry Csab to crash your thread)....
-
ROFL - your very confusing...
Hehehe - Csab... Yeah I'M sorry for crashing your thread! Hope you get a V BFP soon ;)
-
I don't think what I said in my post is confusing at all.... i understand it, that's all that matters ;)
-
Csab, yes I remember getting a stitch like feeling before I got a BFP. It was unlike period pain and I just felt it was different.
I am wishing you the best and hoping you are UTD!!
-
yes, yes csab, thats what I got, and well you know what just happened too me!! I had the funny stitch pains, on my right side tho, very persistent at times...settled a little now:) ooh cant wait till thursday!!!! xing fingers!!
-
Catherine - Thanks, wont be long now. hehehe Your not crashing, I enjoy hearing everyones points of view and what they have to say. It makes this thread seem more active (lol)
Renstar - Have you done a HPT or has anything changed, such as AF showing? With all of my pg's I have just known that I was pg. Since however when my last DD was born, all the symptoms have changed when AF arrives, they are now mimmicking what my PG symptoms were. So now I have to look into the unusual sypmtoms that I haven't had before, with or without AF arriving. So looking into symptoms isn't a bad thing, especially when you want a baby so much. I find it so interesting on what other women have as pg symptoms as every women can be different and their symptoms can be different. It is all exciting, especially when there is a symptom that pops up to be out of the norm. On the down side tho, when looking into symptoms, your body can give you false hopes. I hope I made sense, starting to wonder even if I understood what I rambled on about. (lol)
Renstar - I so hope you are UTD.... Please let me know how you get on. Hugs. Don't worry about me sweetie, this is a topic that I was curious to know as to whether anyone else had these types of symptoms, and lets face it we all want to know all the different sorts of symptoms everyone can get.
Bindy - Thanks so much hun. Congrats for your PG with your Baby girl, how exciting, you have so many cute clothes for girls. How exciting.
Chelle - I am so happy for you. Hugs. I have never had that stitch, well not that I can remember with the others anyway, but I have to tell you it hurts. However yesterday the pain stopped, didn't even have AF type pains. Today, the stitch pains aren't there either and only slight AF type pains.
What HPT did you use? Were you overdue?
-
csab, I was day 29! only one day over....I used quickcard...apparently it cant detect as early as 7-10 days after conception!! doesnt say what level...but I did mine in the arvo...so must be pretty low....I dont have stitch pains really now, just had them leading up to sort of AF time really...more noticable on day 28 when I should have gotten AF...
-
Ahh, Just noticed that your in New Zealand. Had never heard of Quickcard before, and that is probably why. Hehehehe. I have a 30day cycle, so Thursday it is for me.
-
I can't wait to know how you go csab! Best of luck for Thursday mate ;)
