How Far am I?

Hi Ladies,

Just curious if any of you might be able to shed some light and tell me how far I am.

I am aware that there are 2 systems, American & Ovulation, but I have now checked on 3 different websites on the net and I get 3 different answer..am confused

LDMP: 26 April 2008
Cycle lenght: 31 days
Luteal phase??? No idea

Some website told me I was 7 weeks, 7 weeks and 2 days and 6 weeks and 2 days..

Hi Hun,

I have tried 3 websites for you - all show 7 weeks 2 days - slightly different EDD around 31 Jan 2009.

Your doc will probably be able to give you the most accurate info.

Yeah bit confusing cause I got 7 weeks! I think alot sites go by a 28 day cycle because thats the average. And because you have a 31 day cycle its assumable that you ovulated bit later also.

Wait and see what your doc says. I saw a few GPs in the early days and have seen two OBs and they all used a 28 day cycle as the basis of their calculation regardless of the length of my cycle. This gave me a EDD of 3/7 but the place that has done all my scans is insisting that I'm due 29/6. On the BB EDD calculator using my cycle length I came up with 1/7 so who knows what's right. I now tell people I'm due somewhere between the first date and the latest date.

My ldmp was the 4th May and I am 7 weeks on wednesday according to my first scan. I hope that helps

Haha, too funny..At least I don't think I am crazy now for not being able to get a straight answer!

I guess I will stick with being in week 7 of the pregnancy, just been wanting to know what is happening with my body and the bub's. Will know more in Friday week for 1st OB appointment, can't wait!!!

is ldmp (last day)? i thought it goes by the first day..... i could be wrong.

Sorry , it was meant to be 1st day of last period. I most likely got my acronym wrong.

So details are:

1st day of last period: April 26th
Cycle lenght: 31 days
Lutheal :??

Thanks for picking up on it, I am guessing I am in my 7th weeks from above posts but the visit to the OB will sort it out at the end of June, next Friday!!

I used a preg calculator where you enter in your cycle length and it estimated your were 7 weeks and 2 days today with a due date of 3rd of February 2009.
