    I just don't get it...

Hi all, this is my first post.

I'm freaking out very quietly over here. I miscarried my first pregnancy and have had one successful pregnancy since then. With both those, I had awful morning (all day) sickness and my breasts hurt, plus I kind of felt pre-menstrual like discomfort. At least I knew something was happening.

This pregnancy, I am now 5.5 weeks, absolutely no morning sickness and my breasts have stopped hurting. I have a little pre-menstrual discomfort, but generally, I don't feel pregnant at all.

Went to the Obs yesterday for first visit and he said not to worry. My husband keeps telling me to take a chill pill and a couple of my friends are telling me to enjoy it. So why am I still freaking out?

It's so stressful when you've already had a m/c. It's funny how we WANT to feel sick, just to know the baby is OK! I just wanted to let you know that with DS2 I only had morning sickness from weeks 7 - 9, whereas I had m/s from weeks 5 - 13 with DS1. I remember feeling worried too (I had a miscarriage before I fell pg with DS2), but I went on to have my beautiful little boy.

Hopefully you'll get some "lovely" symptoms over the next couple weeks to reassure you.

Try not to stress. I had no morning sickness at all with my recent pregnancy. My BBs were also only mildly sore til about 5 or 6 weeks then were completely normal after that for months.

It can be stressful but try to remember that every pregnancy is different and also most people don't get morning sickness until after the 6 wk mark

    Ah wenchilda you poor thing

I'm going through a stressful time myself with bubs and at 15wks I'm not feeling any movement yet... but gee I wish I were, just to know bubs was ok!

Easier said than done but try to relax... that is all I am doing... and taking it one day at a time.

I forgot to say welcome to BB!!!

Also, just a thought, possibly your first two pregnancies were the same sex and now this one is different??? Your body could be reacting differently??? Just a random thought.

I didn't get MS till about 7 weeks and then it only lasted about 2 weeks and then was gone and hasn't come back. My boobs are usually sore around AF time anyway so I didn't feel any different. I complained that I didn't feel pregnant and for quiet some time I kept feeling like AF was still coming too which freaked me out. I am half way along now and still feel great although boobs and belly are much bigger and my tummy is starting to feel heavier especially when bump is lying low. But still feel very blessed that I have so far had a very easy pregnancy. I am loving it and thank God every day that he has given me this positive pregnancy experience.

So take a deep breath and let each day roll by and try not to annalyse everything. Yep I know thats a tough one. Keep you mind busy on work or other things and time will be flying by and before you know it you will be days away from your 12 weeks scan.

Just wanted to say thanks to all for their kind words of encouragement and support. You all helped ease my mind very much.

Thursday is scan day... bring it on!
