Thanks everyone, only old brown blood today- not even sure what that means. I have a U/s booked in for Fri anyway so maybe i'll just wait til then can't change the outcome anyway so may as well wait. But i'll see how I go. I really hope it was just due to the SCH and little bubba is still ok!

I am sorry to hear that you had to go through that again last night. Every fibre of my being believes that it has to do with the SCH. But i guess it doesnt stop it from being scary :hug:

I think I have the best mum in the world, she is travelling 5hrs after she got up early to work at 5am to travel here to see me! I love my mum! She will be here in about an hour or so. She is also then going back only to return on friday when I have my u/s. BEST Mum EVER!

u/s today WENT AWESOMELY!! At first she was taking awhile (but thats cos bubs kept moving outta the way) HR was 168 and measuring 2 days ahead at 8wks. So very happy especially since I had another bleed last night and knowing that everything is still ok and they can't see where i'm bleeding from.

Yay for you! I had bleeding with both my girls, with dd1 I didn't realise I was pregnant as af still seemed to be there. Then once I knew I still had spotting everytime it would have been due and if i did heavy lifting.

Hope it all goes smoothly from now on.

That's awesome news Em!! I'm so glad your little bub is doing well :D.

My sister had a lot of spotting and bleeding when pg with her DD, but bub was fine :). It's so worrying though :hug:.

Still spotting and it's getting me down. I just worry all the time that somethings wrong, yet all I really can do is wait.

oh em i only just read this for some reason i thought it was from your previous loss, so sorry!

I am glad your u/s's have gone well and bubs has a nice heartbeat, fingers crossed you are just one of those people who tend to bleed for no particular reason throughout pregnancy.

Not sure if this will help but ive done some research when i was in denial about my m/c last month and here are a few of the suprisinly many reasons bleeding may occur in early pregnancy:
your body sometimes actually continues to have periods when pregnant in some women
an undetected UTI which is becoming more aggressive due to pregnancy
irritation of the cervix
Postcoital bleeding is vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse. It may be normal during pregnancy

I am only 5 weeks and got some spotting yesterday, coupled with a lowering hcg level... i am like you sitting here in tears and have been all night last night and today. I just want this little one to live happy and safely. will find out saturday if the levels have gone down further and what is going on.
Wishing you all the best for the anxiety to stop and your baby to just get stuck into growing big and strong! They do say your children worry you from the moment they are conceived to the moment you are gone from this earth and they are not half wrong! :D

struggling today, as lack of symtoms, spotting and 10wks which is when everything went bad last time. Next week see ob, but at the moment it seems a life time away! I just want bub to be ok :(

I was at your point with my second pregnancy - lost the first, and the same spotting appeared again. While I was waiting to see my ob, I went to my GP. She sent me to a private ultasound clinic because she knew how rattled I was. I had to pay, but I got that piece of mind I needed. Can you do that to help ease your mind?
