Ideas to announce 3rd pregnancy to parents

Didnt know where i should put this topic, so thought i would try here

I am not announcing until i have gone to doctors and checked everything out as much as you can.

But i am trying to come up with a novel way to tell my Mum?

Still feel bad about how she found out about my pregnancy with Mason, i kind of said i might have news and she got excited and then i said well dont get excited because i had a scan and it doesnt look good. So yeah if everything turns out ok then i would like to do it better this time.

I was hoping maybe someone had a brain teaser or something novel that i could post to her, thinking of something clever that she has to think about to work it out, really dont want to do the usual card or phone call.

Any ideas appreciated

i found these the other day and im going to use them as a "play on words" for my mum

go to ebay and type in "foetal"

they come up with a card to announce pregnancy but in the link there are funny witty ways with pics.

i love em

or you could write out an invitatuion, addressing it to a BIRTHday on the approx date at the hosp. she will eb confused for a bit, hehe

Thanks Emma you have some great ideas.

I do have video camera so will consider that one.

They are not technology savvy so that one is out.

I also come up with the find a word and remaining letters spell the words out, but i am hopeless at making them, i might try.

Guess i could put the hidden words in first then make the find a word around it and maybe make it baby related words.

if i ever fall pregnant again i was going to take a photo of eliana with a white tshirt on then on the computer write on it "im going to be a big sister" & then mail it to everyone - you could do the same with fabric paint if you wanted to announce it in person

Well i found some sites that you can make your own puzzles.

Have made a crossword that after they have finished will say

You are going to be grandparents again in October 2006 (in words)

My clues for some words are crap though lol, so if i send it hope they get it

I had 2 shirts made for my boys, one for Glenn,"I'm gonna be a big brother" & one for Evan, "I'm gonna be an even BIGGER big brother". they wore them the day my PIL's came down to visit. Glenn was asleep at the time the arrived so it didn't go as well I as thought. I had to tell them to think about it, it has meaning. "oh your pregnant?" der!

Oh yay, you just gave me the t-shirt idea. I am going to do that one. Maybe for a month's time though.
I love the crossword idea though I will send it up to my sister and brother in Queensland!
