Hi there. Don't know anything about a subseptate uterus i'm afraid but i believe free intraperitoneal fluid is fluid in the peritoneal cavity which is basically the cavity in your abdomen that your organs sit in. Hope that helps - have no idea if that has anything to do with your pregnancy or what it means though...your doctor should be able to help you though. Rachel.

    Hi.
I googled it and it came up with a few sites that you may find interesting. Try googling it and have a read. If that doesnt answer all your questions, ask your doctor.

Thankz, i'm going to ask doctor at next appointment, (on mon) but i was hoping someone new,

i found out from my teacher at uni whoms a midwife "intraperitoneal fluid is fluid in the peritonouem. There isusually no fluid to be found there, now it depends on what fluid it is onwhat is the patient problem. Blood means that there must be a bleed froman organ or vessels, and ascites is fluid around the peritoneum, thepatient will be quite ill and unless we remove or drain the fluid it can belife threatening" i'm waiting for her reply to see if it is normal for a small amount to be found in 6 week u/s

He was also very concerned over the intraperitoneal fluid that was found at my last u/s so he sending me for another one in 2 weeks to see if there is more or less fluid there, and then working it out from there...
