    Kind of embarassing..

Ok so I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant and i have hair growing around my belly button, not alot but its quite dark. This is quite unusual because i am not a hairy person at all, is this normal? just the hormones playing tricks on me? will it go away?
argh sorry for a stupid post its just really bugging me.

Hey. I have heard that growing hair on your stomach is normal. Happened to both my SIL's. I'm not sure if it goes away.

YES very normal, you'll get hairy, itchy all sorts of things. It shall fall out, I remember looking at my tummy in the light & was like WTF......when did that grow there. So many strange things & changes going on.

Yep, another hairy person here. Except for me, it wasn't just on my belly button.

My pubic hair and under arm hair has gone crazy.

I'm just going with the flow... Nothing else I can do!

It's totally normal I even grew a 'snail-trail' right up to between my boobs!! I made those little waxing strips my new best friend, and having your skin stretched tight with your baby belly makes it easier to hold taut

I spent 15 minutes staring at my belly button last night I had heard this can happen, i hope it stays just around the belly button Lauren and doesn't spread everywhere, maybe you could wax or like the other have suggested plucking!

Also, I know it's not much comfort right now, but it *should* go away after bub is born and your hormones have a chance to settle down again Took my icky hair about 6-8 weeks after giving birth to disappear. How is everything else going for you Lauren?? Hope you're well!!

Although it's normal you can also go the other way. I actually got less hairy when pregnant which was fabulous. It's back to normal now though unfortunately.

It's not uncommon to see a line of hair from your pubic hair to your belly button but it always goes away.
