    Motorbikes

Hi, I am just at the 12 week mark, and was wondering what the regulations were for motrbike riding? I have no idea, and was wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with riding as a passenger while pregnant?

I kind of gather that when you get into the late half of second trimester and third trimester that it is clearly uncomfortable, and I assumt the bumps/vibrations can cause early labour, but is it safe for me and bub to ride as a passenger until I start getting bigger?

    Thanks in advance

There are no laws that discriminate on whether you are pregnant or not when riding or being a passenger on a motorbike. It would be just down to your comfort.

    No laws at all.

I stopped riding (as a rider, not a passenger) at about 14w with my first son because my balance was affected.

No laws as far as I know. By second trimester it was difficult to fit me plus bump.

Hi guys. I went on the bike today, as passenger, and it felt ok, apart from the pot holes and the general road bumps, that went straight up my spine...lol. But I found it hard to use my stomach muscles as I tried to hold on, other than that it was good. I don't think I will do it too often, but it wasn't too bad. Thanks again ladies

I managed till 6 months and then there just was no room. I got a sheep skin for the seat that helped a little.
