Unhappy No Symptoms at 6 weeks - Worried

    Hi ladies,

I will be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow, but I really don't feel anything, no m/s, sore bbs, the only thing I had was lower back pain when I first found out I was pregnant, but now it seems easied off too. Occassional cramps or twinge in the tummy but hardly noticed.

This is my very first pregnancy and really don't know what to expect...my first scan won't be until 10th July at 7wk4D, so I am a bit worried...I think I am going to have a b/t just to check the level, but have anyone had similar experience, feel perfectly normal but still truely pregnant?

thanks guys in advance..trying to get some reassurance to get through today...

I didn't really get any symptoms with this pg until about 7weeks. I did have sore boobs though but once I got to the 7wks mark it really hit with the tiredness and m/s etc. Maybe you will get through without any real symptoms or you may get them later on.

    Hi BeiBei congratulations
My first pregnancy I didn't really have any symptoms that made me feel pregnant until I started to show but each pregnancy after I really notice those subtle changes, I'm wondering if it's just that I've become more aware of what's pregnant and what's not. for me m/s started around 7 weeks with my first 2 but this one I got morning sickness from about 6 weeks so maybe your m/s is about to hit full force AHHH!

    Hi there Bei Bei,
I am only 5Wks preg, i am feeling pretty tired but no real obvious symptoms either. We will both be due around the same time, it will be nice to keep in touch and share stories :-)

I had to remind myself I was pregnant at 6 weeks. It really seems to be a boring yet exciting time. Don't will the symptoms too much...soon you could be nauseaous all the time. Then you'll know!

Stay positive, you'll get all the symptoms in good time.

Hi BeiBei, firstly congratulations on your successful FET! Well done! I didn't have any morning sickness/symptoms with either my twin pregnancy or singleton pregnancy so i wouldn't worry too much although easier said than done i know! I had convinced myself that i wasn't pregnant at all before i had my ultrasound with my girls at 8 weeks as i felt completely normal. I was very relieved/shocked when we saw two little heart beats! Just enjoy this precious time because unfortunately it's so short and before you know it you'll have 41/2 yo twins that are driving you crackers!!! (or maybe that's just me!) Good luck with the ultrasound and the pregnancy.

Hi Beibei, I am a first time mom too. And I totally understand how you feel. I remember when I was 5 weeks pregnant, I kept asking myself how come I am not getting any pregnancy symptoms except for mild abdominal discomfort. Aside from that, I felt very myself! Don't worry, some women experience more discomforts than others and it is perfectly normal. In about 2 weeks, you may start getting sore breasts... Again, please don't worry about not feeling any signs because each individual is different. Then again, some women may envy you for not going through any discomforts!

BeiBei, some women are lucky and have no symptoms in early pg other than tiredness, which for me tends to come at about weeks 7-13. Other than the obvious lack of AF and growing belly, I tend not to have any symptoms til about 15 weeks.

LisaL LOL at careful what you wish for!! I had a GF who was worried about not being sick and ended up in hospital on a rehydration drip cause she threw up so much!

BeiBei, I know its hard not to worry, but bodies have this wonderful way of just getting on with the job even though the mind is second guessing it

Another person here who didn't get any symptoms until after the 7 week mark, and it was just mild m/s. Didn't really have sore bbs and didn't feel any more tired than usual.

Looking back I'm glad it was so uneventful, but at the time, it drove me mental wondering if everything was ok. (it was!)

I didn't notice anything before week 6, then started to get sore BB. I also had some cramping around week 3 and week 6. I didn't find out I was PG till week 7. Thought those symptoms were pre AF symptoms. I'm week 9 now and still only have sore BB. It is hard not having symptoms, as all you want is to feel PG, for reassurance. Dispite not having any major symptoms, reality is slowly setting in and I'm seeing little changes in BB.
Only 50% of ppl get m/s, which means half of us won't. I have decided to count my blessing instead.
Good luck with you PG and congratulations.

I have to agree with some of the other posters, you are lucky to not have any symptoms. My first pregancy I had nothing until a bit of morning sickness at nine and eleven weeks. This time I was feeling unwell from conception until about 14 weeks. It is nice to have some symptoms so you 'feel' pregnant, but enjoy not having any while it lasts!!

Yep...I didn't get any real symptoms til about 8+ weeks...then the nausea set in...but I didn't even realise that was what it really was until about 10 weeks!

I did feel really tired from weeks 4-6, but that settled pretty easily...

Although at the time, it was hard not feeling big symptoms, I'm now really grateful that it's been a pretty uneventful pregnancy...

I guess, either way, it's a bit hard...

I'm sure everything is wonderful! Take care!

Just a thought, you might have more symptoms than you realise. If you check out the 'pg symtom's in the 1st trimester thread' you'll realise that things you might not put down to being pg can in fact be pg symptoms themselves.

BeiBei, i could have posted the same post when i was 6 weeks along. Here i am almost 15 weeks and i still haven't had many symptoms. I've had no morning sickness at all - apart from one night where i had to go to bed because i felt like i was going to be sick (but that was after eating way too much chocolate lol). All my scans have shown so far that bubs is healthy and everything is going well. You could just be one of the lucky ones like me (or morning sickness could hit next week and you'll be wishing it would go away lol!) Goodluck and i know it's easier said than done but try to relax and enjoy

    CONGRATULATIONS!!
Gosh, if I didn't take my pregnancy test at 7 weeks I wouldn't of known that I was pregnant! (we were trying for 10mths so it was a ritual for me to take a pregnancy test at a certain time of the month)

When I did find out I took more notice of how I was feeling and all I had was a bit of tiredness (but that is normal for me..lol). At 5 weeks I went to a hens night because I just had no clue whatsoever and then following weekend was my brothers wedding! Boy did I feel guilty when I found out due to the alcohol I had....

I didn't really feel much different till about week 25 when my belly started to show properly and thats about when I started to get tender boobs and bubs movements were more noticeable too.

So don't get too worried, enjoy the fact that its not uncomfortable for you...............yet

WISHING YOU A HAPPY AND HEALTHY PREGNANCY!!
