Hi everyone, if this has been asked and responded to before, I do apologise.
Last Monday night, DH and I were intimate without penetration, only orgasm, and the following morning I had some brown bleeding in my CM. My OB did an internal ultrasound the next day, and found a perfectly healthy looking little blob, complete with regular heartbeat. Everything looked perfect, and he said to just stay away from intercourse for a week. All good.
Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night having an orgasm. DH was fast asleep, we had been doing nothing, just sort of a spontaneous thing that happened. It has happened before, but not in a while. There was some mild cramping afterwards, the same as the previous week's orgasm, but that has since returned to the same mild cramping I've had through the whole pregnancy. This morning when I went to the bathroom, there was some red spotting in my CM. I rang the OB, but no one can see me for a few days, and I'm a little worried. Everything still feels the same, and I know an orgasm can't cause m/c, but I suppose I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced the same thing? I feel a bit silly insisting on another scan, when really all we can do is wait and hope for the best. There seems to be have been no more spotting for now.
for you. I had some minor spotting at the beginning of this pregnancy and 2 other pregnancies, and everything turned out fine. It wasn't due to orgasm tho, maybe the convolting of your usterus has stimulated a bit of bleeding. If its only minor and stops, it should be fine.
I hope the Dr can fit you in soon and you get to see a wonderful beating heart in there
