I just got the results back from my second blood test. The first was done last friday and HCG levels were 405 I then had another done yesterday and the levels are over 4500!!! Can anyone tell me why it would rise so dramatically in such little time and does this mean something is wrong? I am quite scared atm. I think I am about 4 weeks pregnant. Could this mean twins?
The hormones go through a rapid increase in the first few weeks, I think they more than double every 48 hours. I mean it could mean twins too, that's a sign -but I wouldn't stress about anything being wrong. I mean if something was wrong it's likely the number would drop, and not rise Take it easy, best of luck.

its what you want to see, go to BETA BASE and have a look it shows a range of levels in pregnancies that went to term.
