please help!not sure where to post this!

ok i'm not sure where to post this but i need advice!
my baby is almost 3 months old and i have 2 sons! any way i wasn't able to breast feed her due to tongue tie!
My partner and i had sex a few times after she was born with out protection i then went to the docs to go on the pill and had the injection and he didn't do a preg test like he was meant to!
anyway i haven't had my peroid since the injection but did get one after she was born! so i done a preg test to check myself and only one line appeared, much to my relief but i didn't throw it out and looked at it again a while later and noticed a faint positive!!!!
Do you think i could be pregnant? or could the test change after sitting there a while!
i have done a test before (years ago) and was negative but kept it (don't no why) anyway i looked at it a couple of days later and still neg!
so i was thinking maybe i am preg but really early!

    Please i need advice!

They say not to pay attention to the HPT's after 10mins as the result can change. How late are you for AF? Maybe check again in a couple of days and see if it comes up with a BFP, or see the DR again and get them to do a BT to check levels. GL. Just wanted to ask what HPT did you use?

Csab is right - you do get a shadow line where the positive result would be when they are left for a while, if you read the box this is why they say to disregard a positive result after 10 min. I wouldn't think its right but if your still unsure then wait a week and take another - just don't read it after 10 min.

Have you have the contraception injection before? Perhaps your body is having a bit of a delayed response to the injection - remember also that you only had a baby 3 months ago so there could be all sorts of reasons as to why you haven't got your period yet - worrying about it also can delay it.

If you tested last week, have you had any symptoms of a possible pgcy apart from no AF? Test again and you should know for sure.

Just for the record, I spotted the first 3 months I got the depo, but after that had no AF at all while on it. Hopefully you are that lucky.
I'd do another test JIC. It could go either way. If you did the last test a week ago, you could test today if you wanted to, up to you
    Good luck.

hi the only time I have got a postive even after the time limit is when I have been pregnant.... I guess the injection could be interfering with it after all it is telling your body you are preg, and a baby that is 3 months could you still have low levels of HCG?? I would think unlikely as you have had your period...but??? anything is possible!!!
Go to the docs and get your blood test done, I think that is the best way...goodluck!!!
