    Red face Is it possible?

It is possible to conceive twins naturally if you have NO family history of twins? Just curious!

I'm sure it is as my aunty had twins and there are none on either side! It just depends on how many eggs you have travelling down or if an egg decides to split the way it does....

There was this couple in geelong that last week gave birth to triplets but..the two boys were twins and the little girl was conceived about 4 days after the boys...apparently that happens like 1 in 10000

It can happen. Apparently identicals are pure fluke.
    Fraternals are usually genetic.

Yes absolutely - especially as women get older. Fraternals get more common as aging ovaries get more desperate and pop out more than one egg to increase the chances of conception.

Definitely! Fraternal twins are hereditary and occur when two egss are released and fertilised. Identical twins happen when one eggs splits into two and they are not hereditary.
