I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that suffered from endometriosis throughout their pregnancy or is experiencing it now?
I already have 1 child, and this is my 2nd pg....but, I am finding that my endometriosis is really giving me a hard time!
I will speak to my Ob in 2wks when I have my next appt, but I thought someone might have been through this before and may be able to sympathise with me or offer some support ?
Endo - there are two theories/types, retro bleeding at AF into your abdo and/or born with endometrium lining outside your uterus which "bleeds" at AF. So the endo wouldn't be getting worse as your progesterone levels aren't low enough to cause the slough of the blood. However, if you have endo in forms of adhesions etc in your abdo then these could be aggrevated by the stretching of the uterus. Depends on the location of the endo "spider webs"/ or if you have chocolate cyst./ove.
The endo seems to have stopped now. I had no endo pain with DD, and was just surprised that I still had endo pain with this bub at 10wks. My Ob said that endo does stop during pregnancy, and it can die-off over the 9mths (that's why some women's periods get better after a child)....but mine came back!
i also have been diagnosed with endometriosis one of the saddest days of my life when the doctor sat me down and told me i could never have kids.
sure proved him wrong been pregnant twice now (1st time had miscarriage 2 days before christmas last year) and now im 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant with our little miracle.
hi,
i was also diagnosed with endo when i was 16 now 28 i've had lots of stuff done to get rid of it but nothing worked so dr's told me if i ever fell pregnant i would lose the baby but ive got a nearly 3 year old and 2nd bubs is due in dec.
My endo did come back after my 1st was born.
proud_mum2b hope everything goes good for you i'll have my fingers crossed
I have not yet been diagnosed with endo but my previous ultrasounds have suggested that i may have it. I am seeking soon a specialist who could continue looking after my case as i have just migrated to Oz.
Your stories inspire me a lot! I just got married six months ago and DH and I have been TTC naturally since April. I am considering of having a laparoscopy done. For those who have undergone it, has it helped you increase your chances of getting pregnant?
