Pregnancy test question

I did a test yesterday around 3 pmish. Visible line but not as dark as control. I did another at 7 pm a little lighter but still very visible. Did another this morning and a bit lighter still ( I had gone to the loo a few hours earlier during the night). Would a fainter line matter?

I am only about 4 weeks or so along and only over due by about a week.

a line is a line, especially if you have had 3 positive tests - it getting fainter shouldnt mean anything

Congrats! Definately pregnant!

My second line varied in colour depending on the brand of the test, what time of the day it was and how much I had peed / drunk in the few hours before hand. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Pregnancy tests are not like ovulation kits - the darkness of the line doesn't indicate anything, the only thing you should worry about is whether the line is there or not.

As for it being lighter - this is more likely to be effected by the concentration of your urine than anything else. Were the control lines on subsequent tests lighter than the previous tests? Try to put your mind at ease... if you feel the need to do another test, wait until you have really concentrated urine before doing so.

Thanks for the relief. I think after ttc you get a bit worried that a BFP might go away...or at least I do (I am a bit strange that way lol).

I did 3 tests,all were very light like way lighter than the other line,went to doctor round corner,he did one and said nope not pregnant so did another test next day still positive and here i am 34 weeks!Think if your early it depends on the level in your urine.Congratulations!!!

Your urine is usually more concentrated in the morning so the line would usually be darker first thing in the morning. Sounds like you are definitely pregnant, a line is a line!
