Ok, so I was all set to tell the world about my pregnancy when I got to 12 weeks. Then, last weekend I had some spotting (very light brown only, no cramping, lasted late Fri night - Mon morning). I had a scan last Saturday (while I was spotting) & bub was fine - moving around & had a strong heartbeat. Sonographer said she could see some bleeding around the placenta, but didn't seem too worried about it.

If the bleeding has stopped & I didn't get any bad cramping, does that mean bub is ok?

I wish I could just relax & enjoy the pregnancy!! The midwife at the hospital said that I can't have another scan until 18 weeks, but that seems like a long time to wait! (My doctor said it's too early to use the Doppler - has anyone else been told that?)
