So far I am not enjoying this pregnancy due to constant worries and wondering what is happening in there, and if everything is going ok etc
Last HCG on Monday was 2000 (it rose from 600 previous Thurs)
I had some brown blood but only little bits and its stopped now ... last blood I saw was on Wed night
Have no pains, twinges or anything, occasional dull ache like period pain, lower back pain but not too bad
No MS
Boobs sore to touch but if left alone are not too bad
Started noticing increase in CM now, keep going to loo as feel like wet myself
Do you think everything is ok? Sorry (again) but its been over 8 years for us and it is pretty much a miracle to conceive + DH leaves Tues morning for work (works 2 weeks away, then has 2 weeks home) so will be by myself
Also not due for scan until end of next week and the worry and waiting will do my head in.
Feel so insecure and needy (and I hate that) as I am not usually very open with my feelings that way so feel vulnerable
Oh fefe Im sorry, this is being such a rough time for you, completely normal and understandable after so long TTC. It is very hard to enjoy your pregnancy through fear.
Your HCG looks like its rising lovely. Bleeding happens in a lot of pregnancies and for a myriad of reasons, it may have been left over blood from implantation....
Dull aches/ period pain is very common and sometimes the first sign of pregnancy for some women. Breats tenderness is another great sign. Increased and changed CM is good too
Nothing anyone can say is going to lessen your anxiety only time will do that and even then the anxiety is only lessened, never gone IMO. I know your Dr hasnt been very supportive but perhaps you can explain that you are not coping with not having regular blood, it's no skin of his/ her nose
Hi Fefe,
i completely understand your fears and concern, I was exactly the same for my whole first trimester. I have had many m/c and had bleeding and cramping from 6-8 weeks this pregnancy. I was in a constant state of anxiety like you and even though I had a few scans that were great, the fear remained with me.
All I can say is that it gets better with time, I am ( almost) completely relaxed about my pregnancy now and enjoying it immensely.
All of your 'symptoms' sound normal and a bit of brown bleeding is very common. I didn't get MS until 7ish weeks and then it was only nausea every second day or so, some people don't get it at all.
Theres nothing much I can say to make you worry less except that it is normal especially in people who have taken a long time to conceive. The best thing I tried to do was take it one day at a time and just try to get through each day without falling in a heap- DH and I look back now and wonder how we got through it.
Just focus on your scan next week and seeing that heartbeat, think positive and try relaxation techniques- when i was feeling bad I would just lie in bed and listen to my fav music on my ipod to get me through. Its a shame your DH is going away, have you got any family members that can come round and visit and be with you?
All the best hun, you are not alone in feeling this way there are a lot of us who have been there xx
Hi Fefe It can be a really worrying time especially after so long ttc Brown blood is old blood and usually nothing to worry about. Like a pp said it could have been left over from implantation. I had spotting followed a week or so later with brown spotting early on in this pregnancy. I also always have an increase in CF while pg, and it keeps increasing the whole time so even more by full term, I always wear liners. I also had lots of random pains here and there mostly stretching of the uterus and ligament etc. With elevating and fluctuating hormones happening it add to anxiety too and can make you very emotional. Hang in there, it all sounds pretty normal so far Bring on your scan! So you can have some real peace of mind
Hopefully the scan goes well. Dreading going on my own and unfortunately DH will be at work MIL is away caravanning and I have no family here in Australia.
Pregnancy after Long term TTC is so hard! and after AC!!!
I also had what we think may have been left over implantation bleeding.. brown blood for a few days when i was 7-8 weeks!..Scan showed all was well!
Good luck with your scan!..one day at a time.. and no matter what, the anxiety never leaves just lessens and changes as the pregnancy goes on!..AND then after we have our little ones in our hands at the end, it becomes a whole set of other anxieties! lol never ends!
Scan place totally booked this week so gonna have to wait until I can get in nxt week hopefully! So frustrating
Got doc family friend to fax a blood test request to lab so just had another bHCG done. Hopefully will get results by end of today!
Fingers crossed.
Like most of the women, I'm the same. I sometimes have a few drops of brown blood every now and then (im 12weeks) had a scan and everything is A ok! My boobs arent as tender now, but were strongly to begin with. I also had minor cramping but they've dropped off a little. I havent had morning sickness, i had about one week of toilet issues but theyve since stopped THANKGOD! Everyone experiences different symptoms, i havent had any massive cravings but i can smell mangos everywhere. I get very tired though, usually about 3.30-4pm im tired and i need to rest for a little bit. I wouldnt worry too much and just enjoy it although its hard to do when you constantly worry, tell yourself worry is no good for the baby and just try to relax, take your mind off it, watch a movie, or go out, anything to give yourself a break from worry. Hoping everything works out for you.
Well did a bHCG yesterday and it was 20,300 up from 2800 last week monday so we are headed in the right direction
feeling optimistic and happy ... hopefully next fridays scan will give us a heartbeat and a good estimation of how far along I am
Levels sounds great hun!
I had spotting from day of BFP till 13-14 weeks with my son & this pg and still grtting some spotting now! With my mc at 13 weeks, not a drop of blood! Strange how these thing work! thinking of you xx
Fefe - I'm 11 weeks and 2 days, and I have had bleeding since week 8, after a massive bleed. the two scans we have had bubs had strong heartbeat, but after having 2 m/c earlier this year I can't help but be worried. So you are not alone!
I'm freaking out currently as I'm still having random days of bleeding and spotting, and my next scan for 12 weeks is on Saturday. I'm hoping and praying daily that all is ok.
Please PM me if you need to chat!
MLR1901 - thanks a lot , it makes me feel better knowing there are others out there who have had a fair bit of bleeding/spotting yet things have proceeded well.
I think people who have had previous losses etc just are more sensitive to changes and things happening.
not quite sure how to PM on here?
lol
well I better get ready for work... another day of dealing with 16 three year olds lol .... !!!!
