Second Pregnancy... did you find it quite different in the early days?

This time it is weird, hardly any cramps or stretching, last time it was quite a lot right from the start. But I assume that as my body has done it before some of the early stretching has already been done so not feeling anything.

I can now understand why some people don't realise they are pregnant subsequent times as without knowing I missed AF and have +ve tests I would know either

Did you find your second pregnancy started out pretty cruisy?

    TIA

Hi Beema, I have to agree with you on the stretching/cramping as I haven't experienced this yet, unlike with ds. BUT the nausea/vomitting is much worse for me this time around Unfortunately it is all day sickness and extreme tiredness where as with ds it was only sickness when I smelt meat or garlic cooking.

At the beginning of my 2nd pregnancy, it was a breeze (the odd bleed, but no cramping). A little bit of feeling off, but nothing like when pg with DD, and tired, but DD became a shocking sleeper at that time, so it could've been a combo of pg and just normal sleep deprivation.

If I hadn't had a missed AF and +ve test, I wouldn't have known till about 13 weeks when I got a pot belly..

for the all days sickness I didn't get any with DD so I wonder what is in store for me this time......

That is how I feel, nothing to go on at all. Maybe my body will get revenge in a while But I will be happy to wait for a 13 week bump

I agree too. With my second pregnancy it was like I felt like I was waiting for signs/symptoms, anything to happen. Lol. I didn't get any m/s the second time around unlike with my first.

I hope the m/s stays away for you too.

Beema, I agree on the stretching part. No stretching whatsoever with this pregnancy.
I had bad m/s with my DS but it comes and goes when it wants to with this pg. Weird, one day im sick as anything then the next day I wake up fine just as long as I eat straight away.

Me too! I had an inkling that I was pg so did a test, but had I not done that, I doubt I would have noticed until about 8-9 weeks when the MS kicked in.

When I was pg with DS I got the typical implantation bleed, some very severe cramping around the time AF was due, but it just never showed. So I tested and yup, pregnant. The cramping and stretching continued, I had a minor bleed at about 8 weeks and I didn't start to show at all until around 15-16 weeks.

This time, no implantation spotting, no cramping. And I have popped out VERY early to the point where I'm a tad paranoid about how many babies are in there LOL! Either that or my dates are completely wrong or I'm just showing earlier - which I think is fairly common in subsequent pregnancies.

The morning sickness & fatigue feels the same though. Ugh.
