clots in early pregnancy please help need to know more about it!

Hi girls this is not for me but a wonderful friend of mine, she is 21 this will be her 2nd child she is a usually fit and heathy lady but she has been bleeding a few times now and has gone to the hospital, they check her and the baby, do ultrasounds etc and its fine but dont tell her much more than that. All they have said is its clots.
She is very concerned and i have no clue about this so i thought i would put up this post.
Help and advice needed here please

My sister bled throughout her second pg, with no real reason being given for the bleeding. It was like she had her period for nine months (what a bummer :eek Bleeding isn't 'normal' but it happens a fair bit.
