Does anyone else talk to their baby? I do. I know I am only early and it isn't very big or having a huge impact yet it makes me feel closer. And I guess it makes it more real. I told my hubby and I think he thought I was silly, so I wondered if anyone else did it? Especially this early.
I don't have big conversations or anything, just say hello, or a few words, and rub my belly which is flat(ish).
I spoke to my baby since pretty much the beginnning of my pregnancy. At the beginning it was just me asking her to stop making me so sick, LOL, but then later on I talked to her about other stuff. My hubby also talked to her. I think I read somewhere that they can actually hear you from about 18 weeks.
(I also played a lot of music and they all love Becky Cole which is my main "car" CD, and equally they all love PeaceBaby which I played to myself whilst pregnant too..........)
Yup - I used to tell DS stories and sing to him too. He loves the songs I sang him still and the stories too - however, I doubt he'd sit still for the longer ones right now! Got caught out a few times at work, but never mind LOL.
I think it's 11 weeks that babies start hearing things, so even if it is a bit early it does get you starting to talk to bub, which is a good thing.
I did too. All the time. And I have always talked to them as babies too. In fact I'm so used to saying to one of them something like "we're just going to shop x to get y and then we'll go home" that when I go shopping by myself now I sometimes find I'm talking to myself LOL!
