I've been noticing that my tummy is getting bigger more quickly than with either of my last pregnancies. I am only 11 1/2 weeks and look a few weeks further on. I know part of it could be bloating (and I definitely feel my tummy is bigger in the evening). Still fit into most of my clothes - just.
I guess I'm looking for reassurance I'm not having twins, LOL! Anyone else experience their tummy being bigger faster?
Hi Sally
I'm definitely showing early with this pregnancy. My normal shirts are lifting at the front because they can't quite cover my belly. I love it!!! A friend of mine is pregnant with her third and she is amazed at how big she has gotten so quickly.
Yup I am showing heaps more too, this is my 3rd child and I was starting to show at 6 weeks I felt like you do I was really thinking it was twins as with my 2 children I did not show not even one bit till I was over 6 months now I am 5 months and I am as big as I was at 7 or 8 months with my first 2 and there is deff no twins here.
I think its just go something to do with being all pre stretched LOL.
LMAO Alan hehehe dont tease the poor girl hahahaha
My SIL is about a week or 2 behind me and she is just as big if not bigger than I am and this is her first she poped out at around 8 weeks.
I have a belly with this one only in the evening. I am about 8 1/2 weeks, and in the morning, there is not any belly (well, any more than usual. hahaha) but by the end of the day, I look about 5 months! Must be bloating.
With my first, I started showing around 16 weeks, I think, and maybe a week or two earlier with my second.
Oh my god, this was me when I was pg for the third time! At my 12 week appt with the m/w, I asked her if it was normal to be so big so early, and her reply was "your body has been through it twice before, it's just popping out early because it know what it's doing".
16 week doctors appt, the heartbeat was loud and clear down the BOTTOM ( not the middle) of my belly, and I was told eveything was great, so I went on my merry way.
20 week ultrasound: TWINS!
Don't want to freak you out, but just bear in mind that it can happen.
