TMI - the runs and m/c???????

Ok, so I should not google.

Every few nights, I get crampy, gassy and have a bout of the runs. I only need to 'empty' (LOL) once, and then all is back to normal.

My only worry is, when I googled, The word miscarriage came up as associated with diarrhoea. So, Yes I am a little freaked out.

Is this normal? has anyone else experienced this? I remember a few times early on with DS I had the runs.

    Stupid google

I get the same thing and its horrible, and if its not that im constipated so i cant win either way lol
Its normal, as long as you dont have any bleeding and severe cramping with it then everything is fine, its all part of pregnancy and things being shoved in all sorts of directions.

Sounds like it is fairly common.

I was worried about catching DH's bug he had at some stage during my pregnancy (with DD) but my obs said that it isn't anything to worry about if I do get it. The bowel and baby are not linked, so the baby/pregnancy will be fine.

And yes, google does make you worry unnecessarily. Congratulations and wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy

pregnancy can cause the runs and who knows you might be blocked up tomorrow, I wouldn't worry about it

    Hi Niadla
Don’t worry hun. For the runs to be of any concern they would have to be quite violent and very very often. What you are experiencing is quite normal.

    PS
Don’t Google, it can be very scary.
