Twins and HCG levels

Hi all

A friend has just found out she is pregnant (big yay) and she has been taking clomid (I think that is the drugs name) and was not able to have a scan before TTC this month so she is concerned about the chance she maybe carrying more than one baby. Due to her personal situation she would prefer not to have a multiple pregnancy (although in saying that she is over the moon about being pregnant). She had a blood test at about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks and her hcg level was 150. My question is for those of you who have had a multiple pregnancy- what were your HCG levels. I have given her the info re HCG levels on BB but she still wants more info. I have told her to get another blood test and she is having a scan at about 6 -7weeks.

with a singleton at 3 weeks 5 days mine was 105.
with my twins at 3 weeks 4 days it was 1200
so sounds like one to me!
