Need some reassuring Fluid around the baby

    Hey Everyone,
I had my first scan at 6w5d and everything was wonderful the fluid was fine around the baby and there was a heartbeat and growth was perfect. Today I had my 8w3d scan and there was a heartbeat and the baby is the correct measurments but the FS said that the fluid around the baby was not what it should be but the baby itself is fine.. I am soo soo worried and upset it has been a long journey to get my BFP and now I am worried I something bad is going to happen.. Has anyone had this and had a wonderful outcome?

First of all congrats on being pregnant and i know its hard but try not to worry.
I have never had this happen but im sure everything is ok, sonographers aren't actually meant to tell you too much because they can stress you out, my 12wk scan the guy said everything looked ok but wouldnt say anymore, it kind of irritated me and everything was ok but 'ok' isn't what you wanna hear.
So try not to stress too much.

ive heard about this before. I wouldnt be worrying about it just yet. Try and up your water intake (i was told a friend had to do this when she was told the same) like by alot if you can. Its a problem that will prob fix itself as u are only 8 weeks. HTH a little... good luck..

Did he say what the fluid levels were? If it was serious he would have let you know, specialists are good at finding potential problems (and freaking women out!) no matter how small or big.

Kelly - I was hoping you would pop in here All the FS said to me was that there is half what there should be.... I know bub is 1.82 cm thats the only measurement I have as she does it in her room then prints 1 pic for me... I figured it was just a freak out thing and it has freaked me out now just the way she said your not out of the woods and something like this can lead to miscarriage but it might just fix itself there is absolutely nothing you can do

    Hi Miss K,

Just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear you're worried by this. I have no advice I'm afraid. I'm glad to hear the FS said it could fix itself. Fingers crossed for a week today.
