Red face When did you start showing (first time round)?

    HI
I am 9 1/2 weeks pg for the first time. Just wanted to know when you start showing? I could have afforded to loose a bit of weight before, and i'm not sure if i've been eating too much already or if i'm starting to show already??
Also, i am 35, and am dreading the 12 week scan and hoping it doesn't show downs syndrome... Anyone else in the same boat??

    Thanks

I started showing around 15 weeks, this is my first. I had a belly to start with, so I couldn't tell if it was the babe or just me! I've always said I've been sporting a 15wk baby belly for most of my adult life!

i've had my 12wk scan, but i was nearly going to skip it. TBH i only went to get another look at the babe! GL, i am sure you will be fine x

I had to buy maternity jeans at 8 weeks cause my belly popped straight away, I got big really quick and then it slowed down a bit at about 7 months.

My tummy started growing from the 5th week, and I'm completely showing now, at 11 weeks.

I started showing at around 13 weeks but that ended up just being bloat. I properly started showing around 19 weeks and totally popped out at 25 weeks.

i started to put on weight really early (i remember having to buy some shorts for a holiday and i was only 7 weeks). BUT i didnt have a noticeable 'baby bump' until much closer to 20 weeks. i just got plumper before that ITMS.

I was within normal weight range before ttc.

At 9 weeks my pants started to get a bit too tight.
At 11 weeks the first person guessed, just by looking at me.
I hid it at work until 19 weeks (when I also resigned, so everyone found out anyway)
People were still saying "really? you're pregnant?" up to 34 weeks.

Now, when I tell people I'm due on Sunday, I still get a lot of raised eyebrows. So I'm a bit of a no-show!

i popped really early. i was in maternity jeans by 8 weeks and by 16 weeks i had to go into the maternity uniform at work lol. i looked 40 weeks pregnant by the time i had DS which was at 34 weeks. but i did have a condition where i had excess amniotic fluid. i got right up until i had him " are you having twins, and surely you must be due soon" lol

I could tell around 14 weeks, it was kind of obvious from 16 weeks, and blatant from 20

I suffer from bloat in the early stages of pregnancy, that goes down around the 10 week mark then a week or two later I just POP! By 12 weeks there no denying I'm up the duff!

First time round I didn't really show till about 24 weeks I think, I remember going for my 20 week ultrasound and if you didn't know you wouldn't have thought that I was pregnant. Showed much sooner the second time round though!

    Thanks everyone!
I just don't want anyone from work to know until i'm 'safe' and i'm aiming to tell them after xmas (i will be 15 or so weeks then). Luckily I am out on the road and not in an office environment so i don't see people everyday, although i do have to go to the office one day next week.

I too have been wondering this. I'm 9 1/2 weeks now and starting to thicken up but not sure if it's baby or just from eating lots of sugar at Christmas. I have always had a pot belly, so it's difficult to know.
