When should I seek help? m/s TMI

HI there
Just wondering how long this vomiting has been happening?
Could you have a tummy bug if this is something new?

I want to tell you a story about a someone with awful m/s
I looked after a lady in hospital that was pg and also had a brain haemorrhage (im a neuro nurse) she also could not speak any english so communication was extremly difficult.

She vomited several times a day every day until she had here baby... Caring for her was made harder as we had to put IV's into her to give her medications but she would rip them out.
She refused food as she would vomit.
We put a tube down her nose to feed and medicate her and she ripped it out.
She basically had no nutrition for weeks and weeks - caring for her was so so hard and emotional (she believed that we were trying to kill her and take away her baby)
Any, in a typical day we managed to get an hours worth of food into her (feeds are worked out over a 24hr period), she lost loads of weight, but her baby was fine. the ony thing is that she didnt have to chase anyone like a 13 mth old that you have to.
Your baby will take what it needs from yo - unfortunatly to your detriment, but it will take everything that you have stored (they dont affectionally call babies parasites for nothing )

Wait hours or days if that is all you can handle... hopefuly it will pass and you will be able to kep small meals down.
If you find something that you like and tolerate - eat that, dont worry about getting the right amount of fruit or veggies in if you are just going to throw them back up again... get in what you can make sure that you do keep some fluids up

There are medications that can be taken to help... also there are wrist bands that you can get for motion sickness from the chemists, these sometimes help

Is there anyone that can come and help you so that you can rest?

I know that this post wasnt really of any help, but i thought i would let you know anyway
