I know some of you may think I'm crazy... My grandmother has been giving me lectures that I should not bend down or over especially now that I'm pregnant and in my first trimester. She said that I could end up in a miscarriage if I bend down or over. I'm really concerned about this whole thing though I have bent down when I was pregnant with DD1... However, she insisted that I listen to her... what do you think of that?
My grandmother made a big fuss about it so it gave me second thoughts... Then again, I guess I could just be petrified about everything that I do if bending is a problem! Thanks Trish.. I think I just needed to hear from other people aside from my own!
Just smile and nod, but don't take it too seriously! Listen to your body if it hurts then don't do it, if you feel fine then don't stress. She obviously means well but its not what you need to hear.
I second the others darl. I think this advice reflects how much your grandmother cares about you and your unborn child. Personally I have found twisting quickly (like rolling up and out of bed in a hurry) causes some pain and discomfort but bending has been cool. If something hurts I just slow up and maybe try to remember not to bend in front of your grandmother if you can!!
