Advise and opinions on Hypnobirthing Australia.

    Hi Everyone,
Im expecting my third baby in November this year and Im looking into having a hypno birth.
The birthing classes start soon and are quite expensive before I pay the money Id just like to know...... If any of you have had a Hypnobirth?
Did you find what you had learnt to be effective during labour?
What types of relaxation techniques did you learn?

Id really like people to share their experiances and/or opinions on this because I feel very strongly about doing this however im still a little unsure because I havent met or spoken to anyone who has had one.
    Thanks

    Hello

I have done this with all of my children, and although I have not given birth any way I did find the techniques helped me to calm and relax. I found labour pretty much painless, although still very hard work, and never had any problems keeping focused or making decisions in labour. I did find it hard to vocalise certain things though (like the student midwife was eating my jelly beans and I was getting upset but couldn't tell her to stop )

Anyway yes, I would recommend doing the course
