I was just wondering how many of you were sure AF was on it's way before you got your BFP?
I found out yest that i am UTD but was reluctant to test because I had AF like cramps, I was certain AF was on her way.
I still have them today, not as bad as they were the last few days and wondering if this is normal?
I've had 2 m/c and no babies yet so i have no idea what is normal and what is not.
1st loss had AF pains alot. 2nd loss had none really until the day of m/c.
Who has experienced AF like twinges in early pregnancy and is it normal?
Nervous and noticing every little twinge

When I first got UTD (and probably until around week 16 or so) I would get sharp AF like twinges down low in my abdomen. My doctor said it was most likely my ligaments tendons and muscles stretching to make room for bubs. My doctor said it's very normal. But if you are concerend it's alwasy best to go see a doctor/midwife just to be on the safe side.
I know it's hard but try to not stress about it too much
Yep totally normal and it can be stressfull, even third time round I would expect to see bleeding when I went to the loo. Its one of those things no one tells you about beforehand.
Hi Babyluv. Before i got my BFP, I was sure AF was on her way. Was cramping and spotting. I did cave though and test cos my temp rose, and I did get a BFP. Over the next week or so, the cramps got worse, so much so that they were waking me in the middle of the night! But as you can see by my ticker, I now have a happy and healthy bub in my arms. And like Dr. Tal said, its just your muscles and ligaments stretching to make room for bubs. So yes, it is normal, and as hard as it is, try not to stress too much. Good luck hun, sending you lots and lots of
Hi
I'm currently 5 weeks and 2 days. I've been experiencing AF type pains (although less intense) since the day AF was due at 4 weeks. From what I've read and forums I'm in this is a pretty common occurance. I was a bit concerned at first too, but its apprently your uterus growing, etc.
Best of luck
Ms Bump
Glad to hear they're less today. :stickyvibes: :stickyvibes:
With my second pregnancy I felt like AF was on her way too. It's so hard not to stress about it aswell.
I had these AF type pain and cramps for the whole of the first trimester when I was pg with DS. This time round i'm not as bad, but are still getting them. So yes, it is very normal.
Yep I had them too. I even told my friend at the time I thought I was losing the baby until she told me she experienced it too and it was completely normal.
