I had my daughter oct. 19th by c section. i bled for about 2-3 weeks after. today i noticed dark brownish stuff,, is this normal? why all of a sudden? and when should i expect my first period?

Hi hun, thats normal. I bled for 6 weeks. The first 2-3 weeks was blood, then a week of brown, and I thought it was gone, but then another week of blood, and a week and a bit of brown and at 6 weeks it FINALLY went away. So what you're describing is normal, albeit VERY annoying!

I am fully breastfeeding and I got my period back at about 8-9 weeks. Such a PITA! Have been every 4 weeks since

I can echo what Leash has said about lochia. Period wise it depends on whether you're breastfeeding, if you're not your period is likely to come back around 4 weeks after lochia finishes. With breastfeeding, who knows!! I've been breastfeeding for six months & haven't had a period yet.
